War Club, Anishinaabe, probably Ojibwa, made in Minnesota or Wisconsin, USA or Ontario, Canada. c. 1750 CE. (2017.718.5) Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY.

The war club is displayed standing in a glass vitrine. It is approximately 21 inches long. The top has a stylized/abstract bird holding a large ball in its mouth. The handle is flat and tapers to a smaller point.
