Marabou is down in Washington DC taking part in Museums Advocacy Day organized by the American Alliance of Museums. Tomorrow advocates from across the US will go up to Capitol Hill to remind representatives of the contributions museums make to culture and the economy to hopefully ensure Federal funding. Below are some talking points about the importance of museums provided by the American Alliance of Museums.  

⭐️ Museums support more than 726,000 American jobs.  

⭐️ Museums contribute $50 BILLION to the US economy each year.  

⭐️ Museums spend more than $2 billion a year on education activities.  

⭐️ Museums receive approximately 55 million visits each year from students in school group.  

⭐️ Museum volunteers contribute a million hours of service every week.
